About Brady:
I grew up next to Avalon Beach, one of the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia.
I then worked in management for Hilton Hotels on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.
In London I worked in Public Relations for a private antique hotel chain. While there I studied for my BSc (Physics).
In Sweden I completed my MSc (Astrophysics) at Ångström Laboratory, Uppsala University. Then did galaxy research using the NOT telescope on the island of La Palma in the Canary Islands, just off the west coast of Africa.
I have participated in astronomical conferences, like this one where Pluto was demoted from planet to dwarf planet status.
I have taught science and mathematics to high school students in Uppsala, Sweden.
I also have organised, and my international school students won, a Saturn Moon competition for the UN Astronomy Year 2009. The prize: to name an asteroid.
Recently I have begun giving “origin” talks about: the origin of our Universe; the origin of life; the origin of humans; the origin of consciousness & the origin of a good society. I also love sailing and am passionate about this wonderful world we live in 🙂
About SSS:
Here are some of the skeptical Swedish scientists that inspired this Skeptical Swedish Scientists blog. Scientists that regularly speak out against the deafing Media silence to contrary scientific facts in don’t-rock-the-boat Sweden, a country that still I’m proud to be a citizen of.
These SSSs (and The Ladies) endure many Media flung Ad homs just for presenting to the public reasoned scientific evidence and drawing the natural logical conclusions. Some Swedish scientists also seem not to treasure skeptism. Well done you skeptical Swedish scientists!
