Beautiful Blue Ball

Earth Evolvees,
Please meet the new face on our planet. Isn’t she beautiful.

Most Amazing High Definition Image of Earth – Blue Marble 2012

According to Flicka “The western hemisphere Blue Marble 2012 image has rocketed up to over 3.1 million views making it one of the all time most viewed images on the site after only one week.”

A ‘Blue Marble’ image of the Earth taken from the VIIRS instrument aboard NASA’s most recently launched Earth-observing satellite – Suomi NPP. This composite image uses a number of swaths of the Earth’s surface taken on January 4, 2012. The NPP satellite was renamed ‘Suomi NPP’ on January 24, 2012 to honor the late Verner E. Suomi of the University of Wisconsin.

Well done Earth … very well done.

Glad that there are still people like you, who value truth and willing to fight for it!
Your scars are a badge of honor.

    • I agree. This image of our home planet should be a backdrop for every meeting of world leaders, official and unofficial – The UN, The EU, The G8 Group, The G20 Group , The Bilderberg Group, The Club of Rome, etc.

The future of this planet and its inhabitants depends on knowledge about its history and the major forces that influenced it.

This site serves the public by constantly reminding us of reality.

  2. It’s a fake, it’s distorted, it wouldn’t be visible like that from any point in space unless by using some strange lens…I don’t find it beautiful: compared to the original Blue Marble of Apollo 17, this new pic is a sad reminder that NASA is now all PR and no meat.
