Well my fellow skeptics,
Santa has certainly come early with his presents this year and things are looking pretty rosey for 2010 too!
Here come your christmas presents….
Nonsense, Peak Oil, and Oil Prices
“Here’s the reality: we are nowhere close to the end of the oil age. A careful examination of the facts shows that most arguments about peak oil are based on anecdotal information, vague references and ignorance of how the oil industry goes about finding fields and extracting petroleum.”
Here is a present from one of your local Swedisn Deniers too:
Gösta Walin om Klimatfrågan
Fler människor och mer koldioxid är bra för världen
Så sade den excellente ekonomiprofessorn Julian Simon, som tecknar en något annorlunda bild av människans situation (1).
“Our species is better off in just about every measurable material way. Just about every important long-run measure of human material welfare shows improvement over the decades and centuries, in the United States and the rest of the world. Raw materials – all of them – have become less scarce rather than more. The air in the US and in other rich countries is irrefutably safer to breathe. Water cleanliness has improved. The environment is increasingly healthy, with every prospect that this trend will continue.”
Great! I love this guy!
And so to our happy Copenhagen result, with Gavin, Hansen, Mann, Wikipedia, IPCC all coming now under withering assault from those devilish deniers:
Well, I hope you like your christmas presents and have a wild New Year! (I’m partying already 🙂
Best season greetings,
Oil-Hacked email-Copenhagen loving Brady
