We all want to make our world an even better place. But it seems we humans are continually fooled by feel-good groupthink emotions rather than acting on boring evidence-based facts. Some skepticism, critical thinking and optimism are way overdue.

We have a cornucopia of coal, oodles of oil, a gazillion gallons of gas and numberless nanoQuads of non-violent nuclear. 
     
Dams are diminishing, wind is weakening, solar is Solyndra-ing and biofuels are buckling. 
     
World temperatures are decreasing as CO2 increases; Increasing energy use continues  lifting peoples out of poverty; Resources are abundant; Food harvests rise ahead of population increases. Our energy and resource needs are easily met … when allowed.
         
Pollution is low, species are increasing, habitats are multiplying, woods are waxing. 
However that won’t stop us humans being fooled. As Jon Stewart hilariously put it: “Fool me once …” This age old shell game is still reaping in $billions from good trusting citizens. 
  
Soooooo … Let’s Party!    Turn up your lights, fire up that BBQ, rev up your V8 engines … Earth “Hour of Power” is coming to your balcony, backyard, bar and bistro this Saturday… for the 6th fabulous year running!….THERE’S GONNA BE A PARTY TONIGHT! Let’s celebrate Human Achievement Hour (video too) again in 2012
